Requirement of Experienced Non-Executive Personnel

company requires bright, result oriented experienced personnel with initiative and enterprise for its
Panipat Refinery Complex including integrated Paraxylene and PTA complex and Naphtha Cracker
Petrochemical Complex.

Candidates conversant with installation, testing and commissioning of instrumentationcontrol systems in modern petroleum and petrochemical industries will have added advantage.
3	Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Power & Utilities - O&M) +	120	14	3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering	Minimum Two Years Experience of working in operating large size thermal power plant having a coal / oil / gas fueled boilers, steam / gasturbines. OR Minimum Two Years Experience of working in operations of DM /RO plant, Plant & Service air system including compressor operation, Steam distribution networks, fresh water / fire water systems , cooling water systems and high capacity cooling towers etc. OR Minimum Two Years Experience in maintenance and operation of modern electrical systems such as high, medium and low voltage electrical power distribution equipment viz. HT/LT switchgear, transformers,  motors, generators , protection systems , UPS , DC systems , lighting cabling , earthling etc. Candidates with knowledge of testing of protection and control equipment , drawing reading installation, testing and commissioning of electrical installations and control systems in modern petroleum and petrochemical industry will have added advantage.
4	Junior Engineering Assistant -IV (Mechanical- Fitter cum Rigger)	121	5	3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg. OR Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade	For Diploma holder, minimum two years experience in maintenance of rotary equipment like Compressors, Gas/ Steam turbines, Pumps etc. and Stationary equipment like Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Piping etc. in any industry. For ITI, minimum three years’ experience in maintenance of rotary equipment like Compressors, Gas/ Steam turbines, Pumps etc. and Stationary equipment like Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Piping etc. in any industry. Candidates having experience in Petroleum / Petrochemical Industryshall be preferred.
5	Junior Engineering Assistant –IV (Mechanical- Machinist)	122	01	3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg. Or Matric with ITI in Machinist Trade	For Diploma holder, minimum two years experience in operating machine tools like lathe/ milling/ drilling/ boring/ shaper machines of HMT make or equivalent in a machine shop of high repute in any industry. For ITI, minimum three years’ experience in operating machine tools like lathe/milling/drilling/ boring/ shaper machines of HMT make or equivalent in a machine shop of high repute in any industry.Candidates having experience in Petroleum / Petrochemical Industry shall be preferred.
6	Junior Engineering Assistant -IV (Production) +	123	32	3 year Diploma in Chemical /Petrochemical Engg/Tech Or B.Sc. (Physics , Chemistry, Maths)	Minimum Two years experience in operation of Pump House, Fired Heater, Compressor, Distillation Column, Reactor, Heat exchanger etc. in a Petroleum Refinery, Petrochemicals/ Fertilizer/Heavy Chemical/ Gas Processing Industry. Knowledge of safety aspects of handling Petroleum, Petrochemical products is essential. Desirable : Knowledge of computer based control systems.

$ No. of vacancies indicated above is tentative and may increase or decrease in the relevant

categories at the absolute discretion of the management and in compliance with the Presidential

Directives on reservation at the time of appointment.

* For Post Code 123, apprentice/training period only in Petroleum Refinery/Petrochemicals

will be considered.

+ Positions are operated in rotating shift. The Other positions are normally operated in day shift but

the incumbents are likely to observe rotating shift duty depending upon work exigencies.

& Graduate Engineers will not be considered for any of the above posts.

Eligibility criteria and other details for all posts:

Qualification and Experience: The prescribed qualification (full time) from recognized Indian

University/Directorate as a regular student and the required post qualification experience as

mentioned above.

Age limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 26 years as on 30.09.2012. For post Code 118, 119, 120

& 123, relaxation in age by five years for SC candidates, three years for OBC candidates. For post

code 121 relaxation in age by three years for OBC candidates. Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen

(EXSM) as per Govt. directives.

Candidates who were engaged at Panipat Refinery as apprentice will be given age relaxation to the extent

of the period for which the apprentice had undergone apprentice training at Panipat Refinery.
