Job Description:- Eastern Railway, called from the Indian citizen for appointment of 360 Nos. of Act Apprentices for Kanchrapara Workshop and 76 Nos. of Act Apprentices for Sealdah Division under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1961 for informing training.


Qualification: Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th Class in 10+2 examination system) with least 50% Marks and having ITI passed Certificate Affiliated to NCVT required in relevant Trade. Applicants performing at and / or awaiting results of final examination of Matriculation are not qualified.

Submission in the prescribed format must be submitted duly filled in all detail, each in full escape paper by the applicant in his own writing with ball point pen and addressed to “Workshop Personnel Officer, Eastern Railway, Kanchrapara Railway Workshop, P.O.Kanchrapara, 24-Parganas (N) PIN-743145 for both Kanchrapara Workshop & Sealdah Division. The applicant may drop the submission in the Sealed Box in Time Office/Loco and Main Gate C&W,Eastern Railway, Kanchrapara between 10.00 Hrs. to 16.30 Hrs. from Monday to Friday and up to 13-30 Hrs. on Saturday, except Holidays of Kanchrapara Workshop or should sent through ordinary post only. The envelope should be super scribed with “Submission for Engagement of Act Apprentice along with Community and Trade for Kanchrapara Workshop” or “Submission for Engagement of Act Apprentice along with Community and Trade for Sealdah Division”.Last Date of offer of Submission is on 31. 10.2012 At 16-30 Hours.
