Kolkata Police Selection Process 2012 :
Notice for Kolkata Police walk in interview for engaging on the following posts purely on contractual basis, the details of which is furnished below :
Reservation : Reservation will be as per Norm ( 100 point Roster ) on the total Number of Posts in each Category.
Terms of Engagement : Purely on contractual basis for a period of 01 ( one ) year with effect from the date of joining the post.
Kolkata Police Selection Process 2012 :
Eligibility for Kolkata Police Recruitment 2012 application :
i) The applicant must be a citizen of India and should be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
ii) The age of the applicant at the time of engagement shall not normally exceed 50 years, and in case of specialist doctors it should not exceed 65 years.
iii) The applicant must possess minimum Educational Qualification as follows :
iv) The applicant have to produce the original certificates and copies of qualification, age proof, Caste Certificate ( if any ), residential certificates, medical fitness certificates, 02 ( two ) copies of recent passport size colour photograph and any other documents needed which is decided by the board during the time of interview.

01) Medical Officer ( Specialist ) Recruitment in Kolkata Police 2012 :
The preparation of merit list will be prepared as per the following procedure. Out of total 100 marks, 90 marks will be kept for academic records, professional experience, publication and 10 marks for Kolkata Police interview 2012.
For MBBS : 50 ( fifty ) : 05 (five) points will be deducted against every failure in a subject.
For Post Graduate Degree / Diploma : 05 ( five ) : 01 ( one ) point will be deducted against failure in each paper.
For Post Doctoral Degree : 10 ( ten ) : 01 ( one ) point will be deducted against failure in each paper.
For Ph.D : 05 ( five ) : 01 (one) point will be deducted against each attempt of failure.
For experience : 10 ( ten ) : ( 1 year experience : 02, 2 year’s experience : 04, 3 year’s experience : 06, 4 year’s experience : 08, 05 year’s experience : 10).
For Publication : 10 ( ten ).
One original article in an indexed journal will acquire 06 ( six ) points.
One short communication in an indexed journal will acquire 04 ( four ) points.
The candidate will be selected in accordance with the Merit List prepared on the basis of marks obtained on Academic records, Experience, Publication as per criteria mentioned above and Kolkata Police interview.
02) Medical Officer ( General Duty ) Jobs in Kolkata Police 2012 :
The preparation of merit list will be prepared as per the following procedure. Out of total 100 marks, 90 marks will be kept for academic records, professional experience and 10 marks for Kolkata Police interview 2012.
For MBBS 70 ( seventy ) : 05 ( five ) points will be deducted against every failure in a subject.
For Post Graduate Degree / Diploma : 10 ( ten ). 01 ( one ) point will be deducted against failure in each paper.
For experience : 10 ( ten ) : ( 1 year experience : 02, 2 year’s experience : 04, 3 year’s experience : 06, 4 year’s experience : 08, 05 year’s experience : 10 ).
The candidate will be selected in accordance with the Merit List prepared on the basis of marks obtained on Academic records, Experience as per criteria mentioned above and Kolkata Police interview.
03) For other posts :
