Job Description:- Jawarharlal Nehru University- JNU offers submissions for the vacancy of Stenographer – Group-C:
Qualification:- Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2), (b) Shorthand speed 80 w.p.m. 2. Applicants will have to qualify in the following exams before Interview: i) Paper-I: General English ii) Paper-II: General Knowledge iii) Paper-III Stenography test (on computer) at the speed of 80 w.p.m. for 7 minutes: For English to be transcribed in 55 minutes and for Hindi to be transcribed in 65 minutes with a maximum of 100 marks and least qualifying marks in shorthand test will be 40%. Note: The stenography tests will be directed first and those who qualify in the stenography test will be called for written exam and those who qualify both in the stenography exam and written tests will be called for interview.

- Age Limit: 35 years
- Salary: Rs.5200-20200/-
The qualified and interested people are required to apply on-line in the prescribed format. Submission, except on-line, will not be accepted. Applicants are also required to submit the hard copy of the online submission, duly signed, along with the prescribed submission fee, one passport size photograph and attested copies of the certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, caste, PH certificate, etc. to Dy. Registrar (Admn.), Room No. 304, Administrative Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067. Last date to apply 05.11.2012 (Monday). Crucial date for fixing eligibility criteria, upper age limit, etc. shall be the last date of submission of application. Both On-line application as well as submission of hard copy of on-line application shall be mandatory along with the testimonials/certificates.
