Job Description:- Notification for recruitment of different categories of vacancies of staff in the Howrah district court of West Bengal to be directed by the Recruitment Committees of the District Judges ‘Court, Howrah under supervision of the District Judge, Howrah.
Qualification:- In respect of all posts in Group B & C category, the candidate must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and at least a Certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institute and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer Operation. Moreover, i) for L.D.C, knowledge in type writing in English is preferable. ii) For English Stenographer a minimum speed @ 80w.p.m. in Shorthand and a minimum Speed @ 30 w.p.m in typewriting from a legible manuscript in English for 10 minutes and also at least a Certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institute and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer Operation are required.

• Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 37 years

Examination Fees: For the post of English Stenographer & for the post of Lower Division Clerk the I.P.O of Rs-200/-(Two hundred) and for the post of Group-D I.P.O of Rs-100/- (One hundred) must be paid. The I.P.O must be drawn in favour of District Judge, Howrah, payable at Howrah and purchased after the date of publication of this announcement. In case of SC & ST applicants fees of examination is Rs-50/- & Rs-25/- respectively and must be in form of I.P.O drawn in favour of District Judge, Howrah, payable at Howrah.
How to Apply
Submission in legible hand written (One side of the paper) or neatly typed along with attested Xerox of requisite documents proving age, caste, qualification etc. must be submitted in the English Department, Office of the District Judge, Howrah within 08.03.2013 (5:00 pm).
