HQ Western Air Command, Indian Air Force (IAF) invites applications from Indian National candidates for recruitment of Group C posts: Painter, CMTD, Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Mess Staff, Safaiwala, Dhobi and Ayah. Eligible candidates apply within 30 days from publication of advertisement in Employment News (Dated 1st Feb 2014).

Educational Qualifications:

Draughtsman -> Matriculation or its equivalent from recognized Board or University. 02 years Diploma in mechanical Drawing or civil engineering or mechanical engineering or electrical   engineering or Draughtsmanship (Mechanical or Civil) from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognized Institution. About five years experience in Draughtsmanship in a Government Institute.

Storekeeper -> Graduate of a recognized University or equivalent.

LDC -> 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. A typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on computer.

ASK -> 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.

Cook -> Matriculation with six months experience in the trade (OR) Ex-serviceman with similar qualification.

Carpenter -> ITI Certificate in appropriate/akin field or Trade viz., Carpenter (OR) Ex-serviceman from appropriate trade viz., Carpenter Rigger.

Painter -> ITI Certificate in the appropriate/akin field or Trade viz., Painter. (OR) Ex-serviceman in appropriate trade viz., Painter.

CMTD -> 10th pass or ITI or equivalent. Must be holding a valid civil driving license for light and heavy vehicle.  Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism. Minimum two years experience in driving Motor vehicles.

MTS -> Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Desirable - One year of experience as Watchman or Lascar or Gestetner Operator or Mali from an Organization or Institute.

Mess Staff -> Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Desirable - One year of experience as Waiter or Washer Up from an Organization or Institute.

Safaiwala -> Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.

Dhobi -> Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. One year of experience as Dhobi from an Organization or Institute.

Ayah -> Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Desirable - One year of experience as Ayah in Hospitals or Nursing Homes from an Organization or Institute.

Age Limit: 18-27 Years for LDC; 18-25 Years for all other posts. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman/Departmental Candidates/ Other eligible categories as per Central Government of India Rules.

How To Apply: Eligible candidates desirous of applying are to forward their applications as per prescribed format with enclosures. The last date for receipt of applications is 02/03/2014.

(i) Application as per given format duly typed in English/Hindi on foolscap paper, Recent photograph (Passport size 4.5 x 3.5 centimeters) duly self attested be pasted. 
(ii) Self attested photocopies of certificate supporting Date of birth, Educational qualification, Experience etc. 
(iii) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-serviceman are to enclose self attested photocopies of certificate issued by the Competent authority supporting their category and reservation status. 
(iv) Self addressed stamped envelope of size 24x11 Centimeters. 
(v) Any other documents supporting their candidature i.e. Sports/Cultural activities. 
(vi) The envelope containing the application should be superscribed. "Application for the post of_______ In_______ Unit" Separate application for each post should be forwarded.
