Research Fellowship / 30 posts Qualification :  Post Graduate degree of this University or of any other University in Tamil Nadu to have obtained a minimum 55% of marks in their respective subject. However, the minimum eligible marks to have obtained SC/ST Candidates is 50%. PG Degree in Nanoscience /Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology or Equivalent. PG Degree in MSC – Textiles and Clothing/Costume Design and Fashion/Textiles and Apparel Design or any other Degree related in Textiles and Fashion

Name of the Departments & No. of posts : Computer Science (03 posts) / Periyar Institute of Management Studies (01 post )/ Economics (01 post ) / Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology(01post )/ English (05 posts ) / Mathematics (01 post ) / Sociology (03 posts ) / Geology (01 post) / Food science and Nutrition (01 post ) / Microbiology (02 posts ) / Library and Information Science (01 post ) / Psychology (01 post) / Tamil (01 post) / Journalism and Mass Communication (02 posts) / Textiles and Apparel Design (05 posts ) / Commerce (01 posts ) Duration : Two years.

Application  Fee : Application form can be obtained from the Registrar by sending a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.200/- (SC/ST candidates are eligible to have one application at free of cost) drawn in favour of The Registrar, Periyar University, Salem-11, payable at Salem with a self addressed envelope (25cmx12cm) stamped to the value of Rs.40/- . The SC/ST candidates to be enclosed an attested copy of permanent community certificate and PG provisional certificate or degree certificate or mark statement of all the semester

Interested candidates may apply in the prescribed application format along with of required certificates.  Last date for receipt of Application Form on 20.07.2015 by 5.00P.M.
